Lone Wolf Golfing

This mini game requires four players to play. The lone wolf is an excellent golf game to play with equal or unequal skill. It is not a great game if a single golfer is better than many others. The premise of this game is that someone is the wolf, and they must choose their spouse. As each golfer comes out on the course, the wolf determines whether to choose that golfer as a spouse or wait for another golfer to come out on the course. When the next golfer comes out, the wolf cannot choose the first golfer and determines if the next golfer is his spouse.

At this stage, the wolf decides to choose the third individual as his spouse or play alone as the only wolf. If the wolf chooses his spouse, the wolf and his spouse must defeat two other players without a break to win the pit, otherwise, another group wins the pit. If the wolf determines to be the only wolf, the wolf scores, without pausing, must defeat each of the other players to win the pit, otherwise, three others win the pit. It is essential to keep track of each hole’s winners and list the points in the summary. The competitor with the most points is the only winner.

Strings

Strings is a golf game for groups with a dominant player. Each competitor will take a length of string equal to their current handicap, e.g. 28 feet = 28 handicaps, etc. Each competitor may use the series for themselves out of necessity, e.g. from a trap, wrong hare in the field, from behind a tree, but each time the series is used, the competitor must cut, or knot that space where the ball is moving. For example, the golfer takes a ball from a sand trap and uses 1.5 yards of rope. The rope cannot be used on the green or tee. Rewards for completing this can be made players without a rope used or, most of the time, used, or invent other aberrant punishment procedures!

Scramble Golf

Scramble is usually played during a golf outing where all members of the foursome are from the same group and play against another foursome on the golf outing. The principle is the same. You start on the tee and each player hits their tee shot. The group determines which tee shot was the best, and everyone plays their next shot from that level on the golf course. You basically have four shots in the same place. In a game of golf, the lowest round is declared the winner. In the sport of two in a foursome, you can play for the low round and the very low gap, similar to doubles scoring. Variations of the scramble include the minimums for using each.
